Vrona ("we," "our," or "us") collects the following information when you use our workforce management application:
Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, and organization affiliation when you create an account or join an organization.
Location Data: GPS coordinates when you clock in, clock out, and during active work shifts. Location is only tracked while you are clocked in to a shift. We use location data to verify job site attendance and provide crew management features to your employer.
Time & Attendance Data: Clock-in/out times, break durations, job assignments, and timesheet records.
Photos: Job site photos you voluntarily upload, including photo metadata (time, location).
Messages: Text messages and images sent through the in-app messaging feature to other members of your organization.
Device Information: Push notification tokens for delivering alerts about clock reminders, messages, and team activity.
When we track location: Only while you are actively clocked in to a work shift. We do NOT track your location when you are off the clock.
Why we track location: Your employer uses Vrona to verify that crew members are present at assigned job sites. GPS coordinates are recorded at clock-in, periodically during shifts, and at clock-out.
Who can see your location: Only organization administrators (Owner, Admin, Foreman roles) can view your location data. Other crew members cannot see your location.
Background location: If you grant background location permission, Vrona may periodically log your GPS position while clocked in, even when the app is not in the foreground. This ensures accurate route history and enables clock-out reminders. You may revoke this permission at any time in your device settings.
We do NOT sell your personal information. Your data is shared only with:
Time tracking records, location history, and messages are retained for as long as your organization's account is active. You may request deletion of your account by contacting support@vrona.app.
We use encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), secure password hashing (bcrypt), and role-based access controls to protect your data. All data is isolated by organization.
Vrona is intended for use by adults in a professional workforce context. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via in-app announcement or push notification.
